I currently live in London where I work for Knexus Group as Head of Strategy & Innovation and help major global or european companies with their online communities'marketing strategy . My work evolves around the development and implementation of their strategies around online & mobile communities, online social networks, social web or what we call currently Web 2.0. I also currently work for 2TalkAbout.com, an online brand network, letting customers exchanging & engaging with their favorite brands e.g. Honda.I have developed 2TalkAbout's orginal idea & concept, as well as defined the strategy & marketing. 2TalkAbout recieved several interesting press coverage concerning its engaging customer model (Marketing, NMA, Media Week, Brand Strategy, Word of Mouth Marketing Association...).
Before joining Knexus Group, I worked at academici.com, a virtual academy, as Head of Online Development where my work focussed on online communities building and management, customer services, IT relationships, Internet strategy and marketing. I was also Project Manager for Online Communities such as L'Oréal e-Strat Challenge at academici. Academici was the first global online social network for academics and attracted during the first three months of activity more than 8000 members.
Before moving to the UK in February 2005, I studied for an MBA at Montpellier Graduate Institute of Business in the South of France. During my MBA thesis and while working at academici, I studied online identity, group identity & online social networks as a building and management tool for online communities. Most of my interests, previous work experience, and research focus on the Internet and particularly Online Communities, Online Social Networks, and Social Web.
I previously worked for companies such as HP in the EMEA E-business Team as Junior Country Manager, and have worked for various different IT and Internet consultancy companies such as Alexid where I implemented the Intranet community for Paris 5 University - or GFI Informatique. I worked also for some Start-ups such as Makkina News and Ascent (Nights'n'Dates - Meet More People!). Until 2001, I was the owner of ABCjuris.com the first online law portal for French speakers.
Until June 2002, I was student at Limoges Sciences University
and hold a MST in Information and Communication technologies
Management, which was awarded with the highest distinctions. During my
course, I studied the social aspects of Internet, Online Communities'
development and management, Internet marketing and strategy, project
management and mainly Open Source technologies.
I originally studied law as an undergraduate at Montpellier University majoring
in Private and Tax Law.
In addition to my job, I'm a member of E-mint ,The Association of Online Community Professionals, and I am also a member of the Association of Internet Researchers .
I am passionate about the Internet, Online Communities, Social Web, & online strategy. I enjoy developing new ventures and do not imagine working in a field other than the Internet...
